H20 Pro
Berkeley Propane also offers H2O Pro, a gas water heater warranty. The program is open to any BPC residential customer who agrees to a 60-month contract. There is a 30-day waiting period after sign-up before a claim can be made.
The warranty covers parts and labor for the water heater, control unit and T&P valves. The warranty does not cover plumbing, leaking pipes, electrical or tank replacement.
To qualify for the warranty program:
• Customer must have good credit rating with BPC
• A $3 per month (per water) maintenance fee will apply to residential water heating with 75 gallons or less capacity.
• Customer must agree to a 5 year (60 mos.) contract. The monthly ($3) fee will continue, unless cancelled by the customer, after the contract minimum (60 mos.) has elapsed to continue coverage. The monthly fee is subject to change after the contract minimum.
• Customer must contact only BPC to repair any water heating problems. Work performed by non-approved contractors will not be covered by the warranty and may void this warranty.
• BPC can cancel the H2O Pro program at any time without notice.
• BPC has the right to collect the balance due on the contract if service is disconnected for any reason during the 5 year period of the contract.
